Certification procedure
To become a certified pharmacist, the candidate must first receive a Pharmacist Training Notebook, then participate in training courses and receive training seals. Applications to the JPEC are submitted as follows:

In addition to the Education System-qualified pharmacists system,a system of certification for the Kampo and Natural Medicines Cource was established in 2001.
